World Ukulele Day Liverpool 2019

On the 2nd February it was World Ukulele Day and Liverpool held a festival.  It was a fun packed day with over 100 people, ( I think) playing ukuleles.  What a great atmosphere at Liverpool One and truly a day to remember.  The money raised was for The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.  Well done everyone I really enjoyed the music. Keep on playing and you really did 'Bring Me Sunshine'.

I regard the Mersey Ferry as an important part of my life.  Most of my photographs would never have existed without the opportunity of treading the upper deck since very early in my working career.  I made great friends on the ferry, it truly was a 'Way of Life' 

A collection of monuments and things that tell almost 800 years of Liverpool history you just have to find  them.  I have taken out some of the hard work so you can see them.  Happy Searching

You will see a couple of unusual things, some remain but one has definitely gone. I checked a month ago.

This is a record of a day it snowed in December 2010.  It is not often you can capture such scenes in a town but you do have to be very quick.  I didn't see many other people who had ventured out, whilst on my three mile journey.  I hope you think it was worth it!

A journey that started 50 years ago equipped with a bike and a camera.  This is a brief show of some sunrises and sunsets on my way to and from work.  Hope you enjoy and will try and load some more

In 2016 Peter Kay and Sian Gibson (car Share) came to Liverpool to promote charity event DANCE FOR LIFE for funds to Cancer Research UK.
